“Based on the Aarushi Murder case?” A ‘Rahasaya’

After various controversies and issues surrounding the movie, Rahasaya is finally going to hit the theaters this Friday. To throw some more light on the story of Rahasaya, the star cast of the movie addressed the media. The cast proved all the speculations about the movie to be false as they said “The movie is not based on the biggest murder mystery of India i.e. the Aarushi case”.

Rahasaya is inspired by the grey shades in human nature. The story involves an urban couple living in Mumbai whose only child, an 18 year old teenager named Ayesha Mahajan has been murdered in their own apartment.

According to the Director Manish Gupta, he is thankful to Viacom 18 motion pictures as they helped him to come up with such a great story. He further added that the movie is really engaging and is different which the audience will really like.

On being asked by One World News, that in the era of 100 crore clubs and item numbers what is his expectation from his movie? And what makes him believe that it is based on a completely different thought line?, he said:

“I think today’s audience is intellectual enough. The success of the movie does not only depend on the peppy numbers and the glamour factor but I think it also depends on how engaging and gripping your script is. Rahasya is a suspense thriller that has a strong script and features some great performances by the actors.

Sakshi Sem

Sakshi Sem, who is making her debut in the Bollywood industry, has a very strong role in the movie as she is playing the character of Ayesha Mahajan, who gets killed.

When One World News asked her about her experience and her future plans, she shared her excitement by saying that it was a wonderful experience of being part of the movie. “I learnt so much on the sets as this was my first movie. I am really excited to know the response of the movie. Yes, I have future plans in Bollywood and would like to do more movies if I come across good and strong scripts.” She added.

“Well, Rahasaya is a suspense thriller that questions the societal norms unraveling the secrets of an ordinary movie that will enthrall audiences.” added the cast.

The movie is releasing after eleven months and already there is a lot of buzz around it and if you like suspense thrillers then definitely go and watch Rahasya and find out who kills Ayesha Mahajan.
