Badree replaced by Shamsi in IPL
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s West Indian recruit, Samuel Badree, has been ruled out of Indian Premier League due to an injury, and has been replaced by Tabraiz Shamsi of South Africa. The Windies leg spinner got injured during the World Twenty20 final on April 3 and has not played a game since then.
He will be now replaced by chinaman bowler Tabraiz Shamsi, who plays for South African franchise Titans.
Shamsi, has already played in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) after catching the eye of the touring West Indies in South Africa in 2014-15.
He had enjoyed reasonable success at the CPL, by claiming 11 wickets in seven games at an average of 13.27 for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Badree will be on rest until he fully recover from his injury.
