Despite of winning the third hockey match against Australia, India team suffered a huge frustration after losing the three-match series in the penalty shootout at the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel International Hockey stadium.
India has won the last match of the series with a 3-2 score line but unable to face Australian side as Australian players performed better in the winner deciding penalty shootout as they lost with 2-3.
Earlier, India has made couple of chances and convert it in goals to go down 1-2 against Australia in the second match.
The first match ended with draw and score line of 2-2 .
