At critics, disappointed Kohli lashes out!
Indian test skipper, Virat Kohli said that it’s disappointing to see people talking now about the kind of pitches that were prepared for the four test match series against South Africa and not about the series win.
Kohli said, “It is pity. The series happened in our country and our own people are looking for weakness and areas of criticism, and not speaking enough about the kind of God cricket we played. They have been talking about the pitches and how that has been a factor.’”
Kohli was disheartened by the fact that media and a few former players have stressed on the fact that India attested stretched the home advantage. “It obviously hurt when people who have played the game themselves make such comments.”
He also said, “Someone who had not played for the country had no right to comment on an international cricketer anyway. I don’t think that had any kind of logic. “
He further said, “You go to Australia or other countries, they keep showing a player’s party good performances and talk about how good he is even when he is not in form. It helps the player to gain his confidence as well.”
