Mulberry ‘s ex- creative director and the woman who made the brand a global Chain is an authority on accessory designs especially bags.. Emma Hill is once again taking fashion seriously in collaboration with Georgia Frendley, former brand director of the famous brand. Her focus is bag both for men and women which is very exclusive and made under here own supervision in London. They showcased accessories mainly bag under the brand name“Hills and Friends” at London Fashion Week in September this year.

Why she left Mulberry?
Because of difference in policy matters with newly joined Chief Executive Bruno Juillon. He wanted to make the product more up market. The strategy failed. So I left the organisation. He too quit.
How you she has started as a designer:
She started her career with Mulberry after studying art and fashion in London. She was instrumental in taking the brand a fashion powerhouse liked by celebrities. She had designed many best selling products like Alexa and Del Rey handbags. After quitting Mulberry because of p-o0licy difference she joined Chloe in Paris.
How she has started the brand Hills and Friends:
Being a creative person she did not want to sit ideal. Along with her good friend Georgia Frendley, she decided to create own brand. That was how she once again started making accessories mainly, knowing well that it was not an easy journey. Accessories designers have a special role in taking fashion brand to success.

Are they planning only bags or garments too?
For the time being bags, but in future they have plan to churn out ready to wear and opening two stores in London and one in New York. And also on Net-a-porter.com
What is special about Hill and Friends brand?
The collection is mix of exceptional craft and quality with the designer’s signature. Each bag is hand made in London with bonded linings for a lighter more contemporary feel. She feels women designers make better bags and even young girls like to carry her own bag instead of looking for mum’s .

Her son and fond of music. Not much a fashion conscious women. Like to wear what is comfortable and looking decent.
