After a gap of nearly 13 years, Ford has finally launched the new version of Endeavour in the Indian market.
The powerful looking SUV comes in two variants – a 2.2 litre 4 by 2 and 3.2 litre 4 by 4. The vehicle is spacious, offering 7 comfortable seats, and tne 4 x 4 version is able to tackle the most difficult terrain with ease.
The trapezoidal grille, which has found much favour, even in other Ford models of late, makes it debut in the Endeavour too. Headlights lined with LED are a standard too, bringing the vehicle at par with it’s other, costlier European competitors.
Both modles sport diesel engines of 2198 cc with 4 cylinders, and 3198 cc with 5 cylinders respectively, with 158 bhp and 197 bhp power, and torque of 375 nm and 470 nm respectively. Kerb weight approximately 2350 to 2500 kgs (depending on the model), with a impressive 4893 mm length, 1862 mm width, and height of 1836 mm. Coming in 6 speed auto and 6 speed manual configurations, the vehicle is a dream to drive.
