We all know the story of the epic Mahabharat, where Draupadi married five Pandavs. Arjun won Draupadi’s heart with his stunning archery skills at the Swayamvar. Draupadi was originally married to Arjun but due to the words of Kunti, all Pandav had to marry Draupadi.
Draupadi had a child with each of the Pandav brothers. Various pieces of information available on the internet give us a hint that Draupadi loved Arjun the most. Some even said that Draupadi loved all the Pandavs equally. This is what makes her stand apart in the Mahabharat. She was impartial and became the strength of the Pandavs.

Crosses all the hurdles just for a flower
When Draupadi wished for the lovely lotus flowers, it was Bheema who went to get them for her and crossed each hurdle that met his way. He would’ve told her that these flowers are not easy to get but for her, he went to get them.

Bheema pratigya
Bheema was the one who protected her every single time. When Krishna helped Draupadi during her disrobing in front of everyone, the angry Bheema tooks the oath he would slay Duryodhana as he showed Draupadi his thigh and told her to sit on it (though she didn’t). He was also against Draupadi’s gambling but was stopped by Arjun.
Not bothered of consequences
Within King Virata’s kingdom, Pandavs and Draupadi were in disguise for the 13th year of hiding. Draupadi was disguised as Sairandhri and once Kichak, Queen Sudeshna’s brother saw her and wanted to have her. Draupadi was molested by Kichak. But Yudhistr overlooked Draupadi’s condition and advised her to forget it as an outcry could expose them. However, Bheema fought with Kichak and slew him. When the Kichak people saw this, they forcefully carried Draupadi to burn her along with Kichak.
She called Bheema and Yudhisthira for help. Bheema uprooted one tree and flung it toward the people who held Draupadi. Thus, they let go of Draupadi in fear of Bheema. King Virata understood that Draupadi wasn’t ordinary and instead, welcomed her to the palace.
A man of his words
Bheema killed 100 Kaurav to avenge the insult of Draupadi. Bheema took a vow that he would slay all the 100 Kaurav. On the 14th day of the Mahabharat war, he drank blood from Dushasana’s chest. Moreover, to fulfill Draupadi’s pledge he carried the deceased’s blood to Panchali and sprayed it on her head. Only after that, did Draupadi tie her hair after 15 long years.
Till death do us part
It is also said that, during the journey to heaven, Bheema carried Draupadi in his arms as she was unable to walk through the dense jungle. Draupadi was the 1st one to fall on the journey and no brother even bothered to look behind. However, Bheema ran to her and held her until she rested in peace. Despite his helpless state, he asked Draupadi if he could do anything for her.

Draupadi replied and asked Bheema to be born as the eldest in their next life, so they could all live happily and safely. Draupadi wept and died in the arms of Bheema. He cried like an infant in her final moments.
All these incidents prove the immense love of Bheema towards Draupadi who couldn’t see her in pain and was ready to fight against all the world to protect his lady’s respect. We can surely say Bheema loved Draupadi the most.
