Aryan Khan’s drugs-on-cruise case
Aryan Khan son of Sharukh Khan finally got bail from jail, but with a condition. He was released from Arthur Road Jail on October 30. Khan was arrested on October 2 in a drugs-on-cruise case was lodged in Arthur Jail on October 7.
Aryan’s release was deferred by a day after Bombay High Court granted him bail on October 28. Bombay High Court laid 14 conditions for granting bail which included a bond of Rs 1lakh with one or more sureties in the like amount. Actor Juhi Chawla reportedly sighed the bail bond for Aryan Khan.
Aryan Khan’s case digs out old debate topics like nepotism, drugs in Bollywood, Hindu-Muslim, and clips of Shahrukh Khan’s old interviews.
Although Shahrukh fans showed massive support in this case.

Facebook changed its name to Meta as part of a major rebrand push. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, announced the name as he unveiled plans to build a “metaverse”. The name change was announced at the Facebook Connect augmented and virtual reality conference on 28 October. The name change does not apply to its individual platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
Nation mourns after Kannada power star Puneeth Rajkumar passed away
Kannada power star Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on 29 October 2021 after suffering a cardiac arrest. Referred to as ‘Appu’ by fans Puneeth left the world at the age of 46.
He was taken to a family doctor after he complained about chest pain at the gym. Then, he was rushed to Vikram Hospital but was declared dead by afternoon.
Soon after news of the actor’s hospitalization was made public, fans thronged outside the hospital. Puneeth Rajkumar’s mortal remains will be kept at the Kanteerava Stadium to allow fans and well-wishers to pay their last respects.
The actor followed the footsteps of his father Dr. Rajkumar by donating his eyes after his untimely demise.
Ads shamed with boycott trends
Several ads India faced the boycott trend during this October. Fab India launched a new collection before Diwali. It was christened ‘Jashn-e-Riwaaz’. Soon after, the ethnic wear retailer ran into a social media storm. People online urged consumers to boycott the brand. Fab India soon removed the tweet after outrage overuse of Urdu phrase.
Now, Fab India had taken down the ad after the major backlash faced by the clothing brand over social media.
In this list, Sabyasachi’s latest ad is also listed. The ad features same-sex and heterosexual couples wearing Mangal sutra. Some people in the campaign feature models in intimate apparel wearing a Mangal Sutra. The jewelry piece is typically worn by married Indian women. The ad however did not go down well with a section of social media users and was called out for semi-naked models for the ad.
A beauty product company Fem too was victim of boycott trend as they had shown a lesbian couple celebrating Karwachauth.
