Recently, a Bengaluru based lifestyle blogger Hitesha Chandranee had alleged that Zomato delivery executive Kamraj had assaulted her, left her injured and ran away. She posted a video on her Instagram account and it went viral. Later, Kamraj (The delivery executive) was arrested and released on a bail and is currently under suspension from Zomato. The video has sparked a debate on the internet. However, the two versions of the story have now divided people on the internet. In an interview, Kamraj allegedly said it was Hitesha who had verbally abused him. After hearing his part #Mentoo is trending on Twitter. In fact, actor Parineeti Chopra has also requested Zomato to find out the truth. Now, the time will tell who is speaking the truth. Meanwhile, a lot of people took to Twitter and shared their views on the same. A lot of them even questioned Hitesha – Was it fair to ask for free food if the delivery gets late? Many went on to say that she is playing the victim card.
Fresh cases of COVID has been registered in Maharashtra
COVID 19 is still not over and people aren’t taking the necessary precautions. In the last two days, the daily case count was above 15,000 and it crossed the mark of 16000 on Sunday. According to the health department, the new cases pushed the overall caseload to 23, 14, 413, while 50 deaths pushed the toll to 52,861. The report further revealed 5, 83,713 people are in-home quarantine and 5,493 others in institutional quarantine.
Grammy Awards announced
2021 Grammy Awards were held on Sunday. Megan Thee Stallion, Beyonce, and Taylor Swift all scoring top awards and it was an eventful night. It was a historic year as Beyonce became the female artist with most of the trophies. On the other hand, Taylor Swift was on a roll and became the first woman to score three wins in the album of the year category, and Harry Styles taking home his first Grammy.

Banks on Strike
Banking operations across the country may suffer today and tomorrow as the United Forum of Bank Unions has called a nationwide strike to protest against the proposed privatization. According to reports, 10 lakh bank employees are expected to take part in the protest. Notably, banks were already closed on March 13 and March 14, the protest will lead to a four –day break which will impact the entire banking operations.
Kamal Haasan car attacked during the poll campaign in TN
Makkal Needhi Maiam chief’s car was allegedly attacked by a young man late Sunday when the actor-politician was on his way to a hotel after campaigning for the April 6 Assembly polls. As per reports, Kamal Haasan was not injured but the vehicle’s windscreen was damaged. MNM leader and retired IPS officer IG Mourya later tweeted about the incident and wrote, “Party chief Windscreen was damaged and the man who attempted the attack was handed over to the police.” He further added, their party members would not be scared by such elements.
