Boycott Kapil Sharma Show trends on top, know why Arnab Goswami fans are miffed!
The Kapil Sharma Show has invited controversy again by imitating Republic TV Journalist Arnab Goswami. In the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, actor Manoj Bajpayee and filmmaker Anubhav Sinha came to promote their song ‘Bambai Main Ka Ba’. One of the sections of the show where comedians, Kiku Sharda and Krushna Abhishek were hosting a parody of news show, allegedly made few people unhappy. In the parody sketch, Kiku Sharda imitated the famous “Mujhe Drugs Do” and “Salman Kaha Chipa Hai” rant of Arnab Goswami. People were unhappy with the imitation and kickstarted a trend on Twitter where many called for boycotting the show.

They are promoting show on controversy. Arnab haters will watch & TRP will come. Clear political agenda to revive their film industry. Cheapest trick to mock death.

Getting into controversy is not new for The Kapil Sharma Show, there have been other instances when they have got into trouble while trying to be funny.
1. One of the Kapil Sharma’s jokes did not go well with some viewers and women activists as they had raised objection against a particular joke made by Kapil Sharma. While making fun of the potholes in the country, he had said that a woman can deliver babies while commuting on potholes roads of the country. This aggravated a number of women activists and associations, who lodged a complaint against the comedian with the Maharashtra State Women’s Commission.
2. The Kapil Sharma show once featured Rochelle Rao portraying the character of a glamourous nurse. This led to objections from nurses across the country. The show received backlash from a group of nurses from various hospitals and colleges. Miffed with the way their profession was portrayed, they staged a protest against the show and planned to file a defamation case.
3. In one of the episodes of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’, comedian Kiku Sharda was arrested for mimicking Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, Dera Sacha Sauda chief, on his show. He was even sent for 14 days of judicial custody in Kaithal, Haryana. He was arrested for hurting the sentiments of people who followed the self-styled godman. The comic actor was booked on December 31,2015, under section 295 Aa of the IPC (Indian Penal Code) by the Haryana Police.
4. The fourth in the list is probably the most talked-about controversy. However, it has nothing to do with the content of the show, the mid-air scuffle between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover is too big controversy to give it a miss. It was reported that the drunk Kapil Sharma verbally abused Sunil on the flight. After which, Sunil Grover left the show and has not gone back to being on good terms with Kapil Sharma.
