This week went very well for us as we got several good news across the nation. Dancing and enjoying the Chak de moment at Tokyo Olympics earned by the men’s hockey team to loosen the restrictions of the ILP in ladakh.

On August 5, India finally bagged a medal at Tokyo Olympics 2020. Indian Men’s Hockey team defeated Germany 5-4 and won a bronze medal after 41 years in any Olympics. Simranjeet Singh scored two goals, along with Hardik Singh, Harmanpreet Singh, and Rupinder.
Long back in 1980, India got home gold in Olympics.
2.JEE Main 2021 Result: 17 toppers scored 100 Percentile
Result for 3rd session of 2021 Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains was announced on Saturday.The results were announced by National Testing Agency (NTA) on Friday night. NTA brought good news for 17 students as this time there are overall 17 toppers at the JEE (Main) examination, who scored no less than 100 percentiles. Seventeen candidate includes 1 female too.
3. DMRC Pink Line became the longest operational corridor

The missing link between TrilokPuri, Sanjay Lake and Mayur Vihar Pocket 1 metro station is now connected. With this, the pink line has become the longest corridor of 59 km between Shiv Vihar to Majlis Park. This is not just time-saving but also pocket-friendly too. As per officials, the fare will be reduced by Rs30 for Mayur Vihar Pocket-1 to Trilokpuri station to the metro section and vice versa.
4. Jaipur: 60-beggar gets a job under the state government scheme
60 beggars got new lease of life in Jaipur. These people underwent a 1-year vocational training program for life with dignity. This training was commenced by Rajasthan Skill and Livelihoods Development Corporation (RSLDC). As per RSLDC, the target was to train at least 100 beggars and out of them, 60 are trained as of now.
5. Schools reopen in parts of India amid a decline in Covid-19 cases
Schools seem to return to normalcy as offline classes begun in various parts of India. All educational institutions were closed due to nationwide lockdown after pandemic hits several parts of the country. This forced classes to shift to online mode. States like Delhi, Bihar, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Maharashtra are mulling over reopening schools. While Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh have already resumed the classes in offline mode.

6. Surat Zoo witnesses white tiger couple for the first time

For the first time, Sarthana nature Park in Gujarat’s Surat got a pair of white tigers. The new gift is given by the Municipal Corporation for the entertainment of the visitors. This white tiger couple was brought from Rajkot Zoo. Until now only red tigers were the source of attraction for the visitors. The pair of tigers are named Gaurav and Garima.
7. 45-year-old woman discharge after 100 days wins battle against COVID
A 45 years old woman was discharged after 100 days from the hospital on July 30. She was admitted to Lala Lajpat rai memorial college for corona treatment. Archana Devi won the battle against corona with all possible medical support. Archana was tested negative for coronavirus sometime after the admission. But was on oxygen support for a long time and it took her 100 days to recover.
8. 6-year-old girl becomes the youngest paraglider in the country
6 years old from Panchkula, Miska Jain claims to be the youngest paraglider in India. Jain developed an interest in adventure sports at a very young age.
9. Jaipur-based company introduces robots to assist hospitality.
Club first introduced series of robots to assist the hospitality sector. These robots can help hotels and restaurants by carrying out daily tasks. High-tech Sona 2.5 is equipped with the latest technologies including self-navigation, 3D cameras and laser detection techniques. Sona 3.5 Humanoid robot can greet and meet visitors.
10. Ladakh removes inner line permit restrictions for tourists

Ladakh has removed Inner Line Permit (ILP) restrictions for Indian tourists to visit the protected area of the union territory. The notification to end the ILP was issued by the Ladakh Administration on Friday. Tourists are thrilled with the latest development in UT.
