The ‘Tragedy King’, as he is known because of the stories of his films, was the first actor to introduce method acting to Bollywood. The veteran actor breathed his last breath at the age of 98, on July 7, 2021. He is survived by his wife Saira Banu, who is also a famous Bollywood actress.
Puneeth Rajkumar
The death of Puneeth Rajkumar was one of the most shocking news of the year 2021. The famous Kannada actor was only 46 when he had a cardiac arrest and lost his life on October 29, 2021. The news came as a shock to all his fans who rushed to his funeral site. One of his fans even had a cardiac arrest himself after hearing this news. The actor was lovingly nicknamed Appu by his fans.

Former CM of Uttar Pradesh, and a prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Interestingly, he was the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh at the time of the Babri Masjid Incident in 1992, after which he was named an icon for Hindu Nationalism. He died on 21 August 2021.
