Celebrities donating for a noble cause
The covid-19 pandemic has brought the world down to its knees. Not only India but the super power of the world, U.S.A is also battling with this deadly disease. Amid this hard time, some of the celebrities from the Indian film industry have come forward to help those in need and all those who are been affected by Covid-19. Some of them have donated meals through non-profit organizations, others like Jennifer Garner have started their own engaging initiatives to gather active support from friends and fans.
Here is the list of the celebrities who have contributed for their countrymen to fight the pandemic.
1. Hrithik Roshan
He was among the first celebrities to come up for those in need. As the Coronavirus case increased, Roshan tweeted, announcing that he had procured N95 and FFP3 masks for the BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) workers and other care takers.
2. Hema Malini
Veteran actress, Hema Malini who is also the BJP MP from Mathura, released a whopping amount of Rs 1 crore from the (Members of Parliament Local Area Developing Scheme) funds for countering the virus.

3. Kapil Sharma
The comedian, Kapil Sharma too stood up for the nation and donated a sum of Rs 50 lakhs to the Prime Minister Relief Fund to help fight Coronavirus in the country.
4. Rajnikanth
The superstars from south also came forward to help the needy. South Mega star Rajnikanth came to the rescue of those worst hit by Pandemic by donating Rs 50 lakhs to the daily wage workers of south film industry.
5. Sunny Deol
Actor – politician, Sunny Deol announced a donation of Rs 50 lakhs from his MPLADS fund.
