World Malaria Day: A Fight Against a Deadly Disease

The 25th of April is globally celebrated as World Malaria Day. This disease globally can cause a risk to 3.3 billion lives.

World Malaria Day, 2023 To Focus On Implementation of strategies

The theme for World Malaria Day 2023 is “Time to deliver zero malaria: invest, innovate, implement.” The focus will be on the third “I” of ‘implement’ in an attempt to reach more people and implement the strategies and tools we have to protect the marginalized community from malaria. Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax are the two species of parasite that cause the maximum harm to humans. Plasmodium Falciparum is the most dangerous parasite and is the reason for deaths due to malaria.
