Grateful to share our latest publication: We’ve previously shown age reversal is possible using gene therapy to turn on embryonic genes. Now we show it’s possible with chemical cocktails, a step towards affordable whole-body rejuvenation 1/17 https://t.co/J9c01lv5FQ

What is the study about?
The study has also been published in the Aging Journal with the title -‘Chemically induced reprogramming to reverse cellular aging’.
The study used growth hormone, Metformin, and a drug that activates the enzyme AMPK in mice and noticed a substantial rejuvenation.

The team has also “identified six chemical cocktails (and more now) that restore NCC and genome-wide transcript profiles to youthful states and reverse transcriptomic age in less than a week.”
These findings can change the course of human history and their lives. The research on reserve aging is not new and scientists have been working for years on this. These longevity researches focus on slowing the structural breakdown of skin and also ways to make the body and organs youthful again. For now, most of this research has been done on mice and has seen some promise. It remains to be seen how the findings of the research reach the larger population.
