April 7, annually observed as World Health Day, saw Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh take to her social media handles to share insights on holistic wellness. World Health Day is an annual commemorative event held every 7th of April when the World Health Organization (WHO) was founded in 1948. The day acts as a universal podium to raise issues and alert the world about important health issues affecting the people globally. Every year, WHO chooses a unique theme to discuss a special aspect of global health-from mental health or universal healthcare to climate change and safety of food.

This will inspire people, governments, communities, and others to join forces in promoting healthy living and preventive health care services access for all. Different sporting activities such as health camps, fitness sessions, awareness drives, and online campaigns are being conducted around the world to train and educate the masses on keeping a healthy state. This is a reminder that health is a fundamental human right, not a privilege.
