Healthy lifestyle: When it comes to food we Indians cannot control ourselves, every food has its own unique taste which makes them irresistible but sometimes we eat mismatched items which eventually lead to digestive problems.

Healthy lifestyle: Good health is wealth

Every single food item contains specific nutrients that are good as well as bad for our body, like iron and vitamin C together, which is absolutely safe and healthy. However, there are food items that, when mixed together, can cause serious health issues, like having milk and curd together. Along with this, there are many things that we should avoid eating together. Mixing these things together and eating them can cause serious digestion-related problems.

Let’s look at such items

Paratha and curd: we all love having Paratha and curd together for breakfast. Paratha contains fat, and curd creates problems with fat digestion, which leads to indigestion. Although having curd with chapatti is absolutely safe.

Food and tea: we have heard people say having tea after eating food increases digestion, whereas it is exactly the opposite. Drinking tea right after food hampers our digestive metabolism.

Fish and curd: fish and curd should not be eaten together. Curd is cold, whereas fish is hot, eating them together can trouble the digestion process as well as cause skin allergies.

Milk and fried food: milk contains animal protein, which reacts with fried food and causes harm to our health. It is advised to avoid milk and fried food together. Also we should not consume milk with sesame and pulses item.

Fruits and milk: we often consume fruits with milk for breakfast, but we should never consume them together because the calcium present in milk absorbs the enzymes of fruits, and we do not get the nutrition of fruits.

Fast food and cold drinks: fast food like pizza, burgers, and momos are acidic in nature, and cold drinks are also acidic in nature, although one is hot and the other is cold, and when consumed together, they can worsen our body temperature.

Always remember

Sometimes eating foods that are healthy can interfere with metabolism because we mix them with those that are bad for our bodies. Given that good health is wealth, it is critical to be aware of certain foods.
