People widely use curd (yogurt) as part of their diet because it provides probiotics and also functions as a cooling agent. Ayurveda suggests that consuming some pairings of curd and food may result in digestive problems and unbalanced body systems as well as toxic conditions. The following six food items must be prevented when served with curd:

1. Fish

The Ayurvedic practice identifies curd and fish as mismatching food items. Fish functions as a hot non-vegetarian food while the cooling nature belongs to curd. Combining curd with specific foods creates digestion imbalances that can produce skin discomforts together with allergic reactions.

2. Milk

6. Meat
