Following Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s claim last year that India was maybe involved in the death of Khalistani separatist and designated terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in his nation, ties between the two nations suffered some sourness. The relationship between the two nations has deteriorated since India refuted the accusation, calling it “absurd” and “motivated.” India halted all visa services, including e-visa services, to Canada on September 21.
