The effects of climate change can be felt all over, be it in America and other parts of the Northern Hemisphere where heat waves are scorching the globe, or be it in India, where rainfall has been so excessive that parts of northern India like Himachal Pradesh and Delhi are seeing floods like never before. The Yamuna has breached safety levels and has been wreaking havoc in Delhi, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh.

Extremely high temperatures in the northern hemisphere have led to heatwaves in America, Europe, and Asia.
Health authorities have also warned people and asked them to stay safe, stay hydrated, and take shelter from the burning sun.
It was also reported that children who were staying in a holiday camp in Greece had to be sent back because of wildfires in the forest.

Wildfires are another noted impact of the increasing and scorching temperature. Our health, ecosystems, and economies have been adversely affected due to global warming and it is likely that this will continue unless we take some major steps.

The World Meteorological Organization also tweeted, “Simultaneous heatwaves are occurring across the northern hemisphere, with prolonged daytime temperatures well above 40°C (104°F). Extreme heat is a major hazard and we need to step up #EarlyWarningsForAll.”
