Donald Trump is at it again, and this time he’s reacting to Justin Trudeau’s resignation as the Prime Minister of Canada. In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said that Canada should merge with the US, becoming the 51st state. He claims that many people in Canada love the idea of being part of the US, and that it would be a great nation if they were to combine. Trump also mentioned that Canada would no longer have to suffer from massive trade deficits and subsidies if they were to merge with the US.
According to Trump, Trudeau’s resignation is a result of him knowing that the US can no longer afford to suffer from Canada’s trade deficits and subsidies. He believes that if Canada were to merge with the US, there would be no tariffs, taxes would go down, and Canada would be totally secure from the threat of Russian and Chinese ships. Trump has been pushing for this idea for a while now, and it’s not hard to see why – he thinks it would be a great way to expand the US’s influence and power.

Trudeau’s resignation comes after nearly a decade as Prime Minister, and it’s a significant development in Canadian politics.
