Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, received a threatening email on October 27, demanding a payment of ₹20 crore under the threat of harm, according to police sources cited by ANI. A case has been registered at the Gamdevi Police Station in Mumbai under sections 387 and 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code.

History of Threats Against Ambani
This is not the first time that Mukesh Ambani and his family have faced such threats. Last year, an unidentified caller made a threat against them, targeting Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in South Mumbai, leading to a police investigation. In August 2022, a jeweler was arrested for making threatening calls to the hospital, expressing harm towards Mukesh Ambani and his family.

One of the most notable incidents occurred in February 2021 when an SUV carrying explosives was discovered near Mukesh Ambani’s residence, ‘Antilia,’ in South Mumbai. These repeated threats have been a cause for concern for the business magnate and his family.
