The Jalan-Kalrock Consortium announced that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has renewed Jet Airways air operator certificate (AOC) on July 28 this year. The renewal demonstrates the civil aviation regulator’s commitment to reviving India’s esteemed airline.

Jet Airways Revival:
The consortium expressed gratitude to the DGCA, the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and all stakeholders for their faith in the revival of Jet Airways. The Jalan and Kalrock Consortium are fully dedicated to the airline’s revival and are implementing a comprehensive strategy for its success. They will continue to work closely with relevant authorities, industry partners, and stakeholders to ensure Jet Airways revival.
Jet Airways is currently undergoing revival under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, following the National Company Law Tribunal’s approval of Jalan Kalrock Consortium’s resolution plan. The transfer of ownership to the consortium was authorized by the NCLT in January, making Jet Airways the first Indian airline to be revived under its original name after a prolonged grounding.
