Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025: Style and trends
Numerous remarkable, viral moments—like Kylie Jenner’s Coperni debut—interspersed with a spirit of unrestrained creativity dominated the spring/summer 2025 presentations in Paris. The best part about it all was that Dior’s understated ponytails provided effortless hair inspiration, Balmain displayed the silkiest blow dries, and Dries Van Noten gave us colorful mascara.

Ponytails
The new messy bun is airy low ponies—you heard it here first. They improve the appearance of your hairline and give the entire ensemble a stylish, carefree vibe. Stella McCartney used bouncy waves that cascaded down the models’ backs, while Dior had them looped around a little bun fastened in the center.
Catchy Eyes
Windows to the soul, at Ganni, Dries Van Noten and Loewe, accentuated eyes did all the talking. Alongside a dash of arctic blue or deep coral shadow just above the lash line, feathery falsies were applied to the outer corners of the eyes, creating a mystical effect at Ganni. The very next day, at Dries Van Noten, yellow and magenta mascara was brushed onto the lashes, creating a fiery effect. Loewe, under Pat McGrath’s direction, went all out with the sparkles, with models sporting large gold-glitter crescents above their eyes. Lashes were left bare and untouched, suggesting that we’re perhaps entering an era of choosing just one daring aspect of eye makeup to flaunt.

Blow Dries
Straight, silky blow dries were all the rage on the Balmain and Courrèges runways. The long tassel earring at Courrèges was used as an accessory to models’ satin blow dries, looping around and over the back of the ear. Natural, wispy lashes and a striking black eyeliner ring at the base of the eyelid completed the futuristic effect.
Beautiful Mini Fros
You can rely on Gabriela Hearst to bring out the most exquisite aspects of nature. Gorgeously bouncy, styled micro Afros on models with Afro-textured hair appeared effortless walking down the runway. A celebration of coils and curls is always a plus in our opinion, and it’s the ideal source of inspiration for anyone looking to get on the natural hair bandwagon. Additionally seen on the catwalks of Sacai, Peter Do, and Hermès, it appears that the cropped rendition of our all-time favorite Afro-textured haircut is here to stay.
