On Friday, Zeenat shared a picture of herself wearing a T-shirt with the word aunty on it. She accompanied it with a thoughtful message, saying, Which genius decided that aunt is a derogatory term? It wasn’t me. She went on to highlight the significant role that Indian aunties play, explaining that they don’t have to be related to you, but they’re always there to make life warmer, more comfortable, and secure. According to her, aunties provide support, wisdom, and a sense of belonging.
