5 worst debuts of Hollywood legends in Bollywood movies
Kylie Minogue as herself in BLUE
The movie itself is a wreck if you think about it. Honouring to the fact that during the time of its release it was declared that it is ‘Most Expensive’ movie ever made in Bollywood. Movie with a budget of 110CR was focused on retrieving lost treasure from a sunken ship. It featured one of the most celebrated singers of Hollywood Kylie Minogue in the song named ‘Cheegy Weegy’ which turned out to be the worst song she has ever sung.
Sylvester Stallone as himself in Kambakkht Ishq
A legend like Sylvester Stallone made his Bollywood debut with Kambakkht Ishq who had been featured in iconic movies like ‘Rocky’ and ‘Rambo’. He was shown in the most lackluster way where the lead actresses were surrounded by goons and out of nowhere, Sylvester Stallone appears and beats the crap out of the goons and saves the day. This entry could be termed as clichèd in many ways.

Ben Kingsley as Perci Trachtenberg in Teen Patti
It was expected that Ben’s cameo would fill the theatres with audiences that were sadly not even close to the vicinity to their expectations. The story revolves around a mathematics professor played by Amitabh Bacchan who is trying to write a thesis on probability and relates it to the Indian card game ‘Teen Patti’. Kingsley played the role of Perci Trachtenberg, a renowned mathematical genius who put a credible performance in the movie. But sadly, the film’s weak premise and blatantly obvious twists and turns out to be a very disappointing introduction of Ben Kingsley to the Indian masses.
Denise Richards as herself in Kambakkht Ishq
Denise Richards plays Akshay Kumar’s love interest in the film and basically wants to settle down. But Akshay has a Casanova way of living life which doesn’t go well in the relationship even though she vouches him for it at the end of the movie. The actress who had played primal wild roles across the border has a very inconsequential role to play in the movie.
Brandon Routh as himself in Kambakkht Ishq
If there were not enough mentions of this movie, here comes one more. Akshay Kumar played the role of Hollywood stuntman in the movie. The director was confident enough to use Akshay as a stunt double of Brandon Routh regardless of the huge difference in their looks and an exorbitant difference between their body structure and height. Brandon was the protagonist in Superman Series and the legends of tomorrow had the most random and unnecessary cameo in the jarringly loud and completely deprived romantic comedy.
