On this Raksha Bandhan day, bollywood actress Kajol took the platform of Raksha Bandhan to send out a strong message about women safety and that how important it is for men to build a safe environment for women. Through Facebook, Kajol posted a photo of her children, Yug and Nysa Devgn, together with a caption that sought to raise awareness on raising caring and respectable sons. Her post was very much focused on the fact that protection of women cannot be equated to merely decorating them with cloaks of concealment but on making the world safe for women and she encouraged the parents to pass these virtues to their children.

The recipe Kajol shared demonstrates the need for change of attitude in the society especially male chauvinists, for the better protection of women; she wrote “It is your day to protect protector today let all those protectors understand that this is what makes you a man, make women around you comfortable enough to live without fear Happy Rakhi Bandhan Sibling love proud mom”.
