India Couture Week 2024 is set to begin, and there is glamour and anticipation in the air when it comes to fashion and clothes that are to be showcased and worn by Bollywood celebrities. Last night the event turned romantic at the Hyundai India Couture Week in New Delhi with Wamiqa Gabbi and Taha Shah sizzling at the ramp as Show stoppers for Asal & Mard by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.

The Opening show was simply gourmet theatrical display with Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla showcasing their Blockbuster collection with magnificient ‘Haveli’ theme set to the peppy ‘Disco Mujra’music. Fine jewelry designed by the famous G. K. Chudiwala enriched the evening with the touch of luxurious appeal that best captured the splendid ensembles.

Wamiqa Gabbi and Taha Shah both looked elegant in their royal avatars that made the audience sway with the grace. Talking about the beauty queens and damsels walking the red carpet, Wamiqa Gabbi indeed stunned everyone in an ivory trail lehenga from the brand ‘Botanical Bloom’. She wore a gorgeous two piece saree; a sweetheart neckline blouse with golden resham embroidery and ivory silk threads on top and a beautiful beige saree with resham work below that. The Wikontoanese dress was complemented by the flared skirt and the netted veil that covered her head looked very dramatic. She was all beautiful makeup jobs done on her; and her beautiful natural hair left loose on her head, she ruled the stage.

Wamiqa got clenched the show as she performed the closing act wearing a red lehenga from the ‘Bridal Gota’ line. This gown, with ornate Gota and Zardozi work and heavy crystallization carried the theme of a bridal gown beautifully. Flared and designed to perfection, her skirt matched the dupatta along with the gown showing the finesse of India designers and making her look like a true Indian princess.

Taha Shah Badussha was, on the other hand, a picture of royal elegance in an olive silk tissue wedding kurta with flying birds made of crystals. With the business look, the brocade flared pants that were matched with a slight complicated look added great comfort as well as great style to him. During another event, Taha displayed luxury with brocade trousers and a striking fabric wrap, delicately decorated with Zardozi embroidery and secured with a matching Zardozi belt. His hair neatly styled and his naturally attractive manner made him a symbol of sophistication.

The event highlighted the exceptional skills and innovative talent of designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, and the royal aura of Wamiqa Gabbi and Taha Shah turned it into a memorable night at the India Couture Week 2024.
