Actor Vikrant Massey, who is currently working for his movie Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba , recently posted on the social media stage commenting on the changing norms of behavorial cultures to other creative arts. The same has been discussed by Massey in his interview to Times Now, where the latter raised the question about the moral and political sentiment today which might lead to the ban of such songs like Jaadu Teri Nazar from SRK’s movie Darr.

According to Massey, if “Jaadu Teri Nazar” was to be produced today, in this all-encompassing ‘borderline woke’ period, it could probably become a victim of today’s audiences and critics. He wished and cried that have modern moral and political considerations emerged and began to encroach on creative activities, movies, and songs. “Our politics or our moral standing has started seeping into creative arts and films,” said Massey noting that this is a situation that has occurred over the past several years.

However, this shift made Massey ponder where such boundaries begin, as today’s guidelines might just as well prevent viewers from watching old movies. It is due to such remarks that we realize that there is now an ongoing struggle between art and culture and the changing culture of society. The next movie of Massey is Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba directed by Jayprad Desai along with Taapsee Pannu and Sunny Kaushal, which is expected to release on August 9, 2024, would certainly give rise to further discussions regarding the issues highlighted above.
