Vikram Veda, the name only suggests a neo-noir action thriller that delivered a hair-raising tale of Vikram Veda. Now, Bollywood is daring to create the same magic for the Hindi audience which seems next to impossible. But Oh, My My, Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan are in full form and have accepted this as a challenge.
The trailer of the Hindi remake of Vikram Veda raised the bar and hope of Bollywood high. Hrithik Roshan’s looks are as fearsome as Vijay Sethupathi’s. Saif Ali Khan is very convincing as a cop as this movie can be a record-breaker of his flop film bogue.
It is saddening to know that a talented actor like Saif Ali Khan had very hand-few hit films in his bucket.

Tanhaji: An Unsung Warrior
Released in the year 2020, Tanhaji was a blockbuster movie with a collected whooping number of ₹368 crores at the box office. The movie was a period film based on the life of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare.
Saif Ali Khan played Udaybhan Rathod, a Rajput General, and his performance was highly acclaimed by critics.
Race 2
Made on a budget of ₹ 94 crores, Race 2 collected ₹ 161 crores worldwide however it got missed reviews from the critics. The movie was a sequel to ‘Race’ which carried along only Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor from the original. Saif Ali Khan as Ranveer Singh perfectly suited his character.
Sadly, no films were able to cross the 100-crore mark. However, his critically acclaimed web series Sacred Games cannot be dodged from the list.

Saif Ali Khan was highly convincing as Sartaj Singh in the popular TV series. Saif Ali Khan played a troubled cop. As per reports, Khan gained a few kilos for the first part of the series and then lost weight for the second part. This proves his dedication to fitting in a role.
Now we are expecting a rival of Saif Ali Khan’s Bollywood career with Vikram Veda and hope to see it in ₹100 crore Club. Fingers crossed!

The teaser of the film already crossed 17 million views. However, Twitter is filled with mixed reviews. Some are highly lauding the Hrithik Roshan looks while the Boycott Army is still on rolls.
It will be interesting to watch whether Vikram Veda will be a blockbuster hit or will turn out to be merely a poor replica of another Kollywood masterpiece.
