Tamannaah Bhatia’s breakup surfaced all over tabloids, finally prompting Vijay Varma to put up his first Insta story. Currently, he is preparing to host the IIFA Digital Awards in Jaipur. This latest round of speculation concerning Vijay’s breakup with Tamannaah has, therefore, served to pour colder water on what has been already forwarded as a breakup with quite some gusto.
On his Stories, the actor showed glimpses of rehearsals, giving insights into his preparations. “Host mode on” said one, in a picture showing his excitement for the event. Another was with Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee, which he titled “Partners in Rhyme.” The fun post really didn’t touch the ever-present breakup gossip.
Reports suggest there might have been some issues between the couple regarding their future plans. According to Siasat Daily, Tamannaah, in her mid-30s, was apparently pushing for the relationship to progress, but her timing was less than fortuitous, causing friction between them. An insider told the publication, “Frequent arguments over this matter reportedly led to their breakup.” Nevertheless, these rumors remain unverifiable, and both Tamannaah and Vijay have maintained silence on the matter.
Just earlier that week, Pinkvilla reported that, allegedly after dating for over a year, Tamannaah and Vijay have parted ways. “Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma parted ways weeks ago as a couple but plan to remain good friends. Both have been busy with their work schedules,’ the source said.” Even after their breakup, both have been so working hard that very little time has been left for them to talk about the rumors.
Riding the breakup speculations, the romance between Vijay and Tamannaah came cranking in 2022 and was confirmed in June 2023. Their on-screen chemistry was ignited further in Sujoy Ghosh’s Netflix segment Lust Stories 2, debuted the very same month, which had been in evidence augmenting their claim as an off-screen couple. Earlier reports put Tamannaah herself putting an end to rumors by acknowledging their relationship; this was done during an interview with Film Companion. On the other hand, Vijay would later give his own account of going public with them. He stated that keeping a relationship secret was too much of an effort and was a restriction he did not want to live under.

In this light, it appears that the rumors regarding their alleged breakup may not be something Vijay Varma is willing to put any more emphasis on than on his ongoing career appointments. Their relationship status may still be up for speculation; however, one thing is sure: both stars are presently absorbed in their careers, each charting their own course.
