Beyond Ticket Sales: Merchandise Revenue and Projections for $2 Billion

Pollstar estimates merchandise sales to be around $200 million during the same period. However, the financial success projections don’t stop there. Pollstar anticipates that ticket sales for the upcoming eligibility box-office year could reach another $1 billion, potentially bringing the tour’s total revenue to over $2 billion. This optimistic outlook follows Swift’s strategic addition of numerous shows in the U.S. and internationally, surpassing Pollstar’s initial prediction of $1.4 billion in total gross ticket sales.

The Enigma of Unreleased Official Box-Office Numbers
Despite the monumental success of the ‘Eras’ Tour, Swift’s management has chosen not to release any official box-office numbers from the tour, even after its conclusion in November 2024. As a result, the figures remain projections, and Billboard’s Boxscore charts, relying solely on officially submitted numbers, currently list Beyoncé’s tour as having the highest official receipts of 2023, totalling $570.5 million. None of Swift’s concerts are featured on Billboard Boxscore’s list of the top 30 grossing shows of the year due to the lack of official data from Swift’s team or the venues where she performed.
