Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have turned a beautiful page in their lives as they welcome their baby girl, born on March 24. The ecstatic news was shared with their fans on Instagram through a lovely post capturing the image of serene swans with the caption “Blessed with a baby girl”! The announcement attracted a flurry of love and blessings from family, friends, and fans alike in an instant.

The most tear-jerking reaction was by Bollywood go-to papa Suniel Shetty, Athiya’s father. The happiest grandpa ever shared the couple’s announcement on his Instagram story with weighty emotional expressionism. He went on to comment, with a black heart and an evil eye emoji, on their post, representing his love and blessing for the little girl.

The news was greeted by a flood of congratulations from several members of the film fraternity and the sports world. Blessings were sent by actor Vikrant Massey, who commented, “God bless your family.” Arjun Kapoor commented, “(taco emoji) is here!!! #squishy!!! Congratulations guys.” Fellow actress Kiara Advani (who is expecting as well) flooded the post with red heart emojis while singer Sophie Choudry offered her excitement by saying, “So much love you guys!!!! God bless your little angel.”

Athiya and KL Rahul’s tryst with parenthood was nothing less than a fairy tale. Having gotten married in an intimate ceremony in January 2023 at Suniel Shetty’s picturesque Khandala farmhouse, the couple announced their pregnancy in November 2024. Just last week, they shared stunning maternity pictures in which Athiya dazzled in chic outfits with poise and grace.

The couple got their great love story rolling in 2019 when they met through a mutual friend. While the couple had kept their relationship low-key in the early days, they grew stronger as time went by.
