Stree 2 Breaks Records at the Box Office, Surpasses ₹250 Crore in Just Six Days, Becoming 2024’s Highest-Grossing Hindi Film

The much-awaited sequel to the 2018 release Stree titled Stree 2 has become the new favourite at the box office as the movie has grossed more than ₹250 crore within six days. Made at a cost of 100 crore, the film is directed by Amar Kaushik and stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor and has become a huge hit grossing ₹254. Rs. 55 crore as per a Sacnilk report till day six of its release.

S2 was released on August 15 and is a part of producer Dinesh Vijan’s growing horror-comedy franchise which comprises Roohi, Bhediya, Munjya, and others. Even if it was challenged by the attractive pair of John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh, Vedaa, as well as Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor, Khel Khel Mein, Stree 2 has become more successful and is the leader among films reaching the audience.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has pointed out the good show of the film recently and how it is maintaining collections on a partial holiday of Raksha Bandhan and giving a good extended weekend. Adarsh also shared breaking figures and stated that Stree 2 has grossed more than the lifetime business of Fighter and is heading for a better opening week of Kalki 2898AD Hindi version to become the highest Hindi grosser of 2024.

This means that the experts in the industry have estimated that Stree 2 could possibly gross ₹400 crore and ₹500 crore, which will give it the title of being one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. The film also has the versatile actors like Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana and guest appearance by Varun Dhawan.
