Actors promote Banda Singh Chaudhary at Sparsh Global School; film releases on October 25, 2024
The team behind the upcoming film Banda Singh Chaudhary, including actors Arshad Warsi, Meher Vij, and Arbaaz Khan, recently visited Sparsh Global School in New Delhi for a promotional event. Director Abhishek Saxena and co-producer Manish Mishra were also present. The film, scheduled to release on October 25, 2024, was promoted during a special event called Jashn-e-Kafila.

Banda Singh Chaudhary is set during the communal riots in Punjab following the 1971 Indo-Pak war. It portrays the struggle of a common man who fights to protect his family and survive amidst the violence and chaos of partition. The story highlights the resilience of a man striving for his family’s survival during one of the darkest times in Indian history.

Speaking at the event, Arshad Warsi, who plays the lead role, expressed his excitement about the promotion. He encouraged aspiring writers, directors, and producers to pursue their dreams, emphasizing the importance of storytelling in filmmaking. “Writing is a beautiful art,” Warsi said, urging students to continue their creative pursuits.

Meher Vij, who portrays a woman dealing with immense loss in the film, shared how personal the story felt to her. “This film is about hope and love in the face of adversity. It’s about standing strong when everything else falls apart,” she remarked.
Arbaaz Khan, the film’s producer, highlighted the broader message of Banda Singh Chaudhary, stating, “This isn’t just a story of struggle; it represents the strength of a nation that refuses to be divided by communal forces. It’s a powerful, emotional film that is highly relevant today.”
