An incident recently occurred during his concert in which a man charged at him on the stage but Sonu Nigam, whose voice is perfect and whose stage presence is top class, remained composed and continued singing. Not only did he portray his mastery over vocals but quick thinking, as also pressure handling.
The Incident
It was at a concert; Sonu Nigam was singing one of his very popular songs, Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte from the movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008. A man jumped suddenly onto the stage in the middle of the performance and ran towards the singer. Sonu didn’t break into a panic. In fact, he swiftly passed the individual to one side. Security took care of the man and brought him to the stage and then forced him off. Sonu kept singing as if the incident hadn’t happened. Sonu kept the perfect rhythm and pitch.

Sonu’s Poise Wins Thumbs Up from Viewers
The incident, captured through a camera, soon took to social media as Sonu Nigam got a lot of appreciation and praises from fans for his profession. One of the Instagram followers commented, “Whatever has to happen, one has not to stop singing, for the public appreciated his being focused on his performances.” Another fan praised his steady talent by referring another singer, Arijit Singh, who said, “Sonu never goes out of tune,” adding sarcasm and appreciation to that particular situation.

And this wasn’t the end of praise. Fans said that Sonu dodges the intruder so amazingly that he didn’t miss a single word in his song. “How did Sonu evade the dude and sing it all without a hitch?? Legendary, for sure!”
Another impressed viewer of the video basically speaks for itself as yet another example of Sonu’s long years of hard practice and mastery of their art. Many praised this person for his quick instincts and unyielding drive in the art.
Comparisons and Criticism
Some even compared the composed response of Sonu Nigam with that of a recent incident involving Nick Jonas in Prague. The latter had retreated from the stage after a fan pointed a laser at him. Some fans found that move less composed than that of Sonu. However, all was not well.
The response of the security was bashed by some and labeled the physical aggression used on the intruder unwarranted. “They didn’t have to hit him,” posted one user. “Did it deserve it or was that too much?” – commented in reaction to the security personnel’s response.
It hardly mattered what had caused it. Sonu Nigam’s poise and perfection while performing spell-bounded his fans, at least.
