Stree 2 trailer: Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor’s film to see Stree battle new monster Sarkata

The teaser trailer of Stree 2 with Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor and Abhishek Banerjee has come up with this and the movie looks like a adventurous treat. Though the upcoming horror-comedy movie is an installment that is set to continue where the previous film stopped in 2018, following the early prediction from residences that the town of Chanderi was plagued by the spirit of Stree.

The trailer shows the locals, including Rajkummar, Abhishek, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana, on a mission to take on another evil: Sarkata aadmi, with the help of Stree – by Ratan Tata by signing a famous slogan for its topicality. Therefore, prepare for the splitting of ribs due to laughter.

The trailer-

The starting shot sees Rudra Bhaiya, played by Pankaj Tripathi, explaining the new enemy to the people of Chanderi, ‘Sarkata’ or the headless monster. To shield them from his terror, arrives Shraddha Kapoor who was probably the evil spirit in the previous part of the movie. The occupation of the people of Chanderi is to bow down to Stree this time and say, “O stree raksha karna”, instead of saying to her, “O stree kal aana”.

The trailer begins with the sight of Pankaj Tripathi, who plays the character of a mafia don, Rudra Bhaiya and he warns the people of Chanderi about the new type of danger they are in – ‘Sarkata’ who has no head.

In a bid to protect all from being terrorized by it, Shraddha Kapoor comes out, presumably having played the specific part of the ghost in the prequel of the movie.
Realizing that the situation is spiraling out of control, The people of Chanderi worshipping Stree this time, “O stree raksha karna” instead of asking her to come next time: “O stree kal aana”.

The trailer is more of a comedy horror one because it has moments that will make viewers feel the chills and moments that will have the viewers laughing. One gets to watch frightening appearance of head of ‘Sarkata’ along with many hysterical dialogues. For example, once Rudra Bhaiya comments that Sarkata is an influencer who is present in Chanderi only to gain followers.
Bollywood actors Shraddha and Rajummar Rao were in the main lead in the movie Stree. It had a pathetic ending in the aspect of Shraddha’s character where she is carrying the pony tail, which was seen symbolic to the evil spirit. The horror universe developed by Maddock Films and JioStudios is now expanded as Roohi (2021), Bhediya (2022), Munjya (2024) are also in the series.

The Bhediya characters of Varun Dhawan and Abhishek Banerjee even made fleeting appearances in Munjya, starring Abhay Verma and Sharvari Wagh. Akshay Kumar is rumored to make an unexpected cameo in the movie. In a unique position, Tamannaah Bhatia will also be included.
