Shraddha Kapoor Reflects on Aashiqui 3 Possibility: “I’d Be Open to It If It’s Something

One of the most romantic musical dramas released in 2013 was Aashiqui 2 which helped Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur display their affection on-screen. Affectionally directed by Mohit Suri this movie was a hit and remains popular because of the compelling story, superb acting and of course the music. As people await the third part featuring Kartik Aaryan, fans wait to know if Shraddha will be a part of it or not.

During the latest NDTV Summit 2024, Shraddha Kapoor spoke about the prospect of being in Aashiqui 3. Although she said that she has not got any specific news, she revealed her joy about the future of the series by saying, “If the makers thought of a sequel they will go for something very interesting.” The actress said looking back at the story of Aashiqui she realized that it had a big impact on her life and career stating, “The story—it’s the film where everything changed for me.”

Kapoor build on this by stating that she is willing to do the second sequel if she will get a new challenge. She said: ‘If I feel like it is something challenging for me as an actor, something different for me to do, I would be open to it’. On the other hand, the news claims that Triptii Dimri will also be paired opposite Kartik but this news has not been confirmed officially. About Shraddha, her year remains super successful with Stree 2 reaching more than Rs 600 crores gross and she definitely has made her stand in the industry.
