Shehnaaz Gill may resume work soon with Diljit Dosanjh for Honsla Rakh
On 2 September 2021, the nation lost the very talented actor Sidharth Shukla. One of the closest people to Sidharth, who was severely affected by his untimely departure, was Shehnaaz Gill. They met in Bigg Boss 13 and continue to grow their bond stronger even after the show. There were many speculations that Sidnazz were planning to get married by the end of this December.
On the day of the last rites of Shukla, Shehnaaz seemed in utter shock. Therefore, her fans were not expecting to see Gill on the big screen soon. Now, there are many reports, which confirm that Shehnaaz Gill is bravely recuperating from her huge loss.
There are many projects signed by Shehnaaz that are waiting for her to recover. Her Punjabi Film Honsla Rakh is also lined up in this list. It is a Punjabi film featuring Diljit Dosanjh, Shehnaaz Gill, Sonam Bajwa, and Gippy Grewal’s son, Shinda Grewal in lead roles.
Although the entire shooting is over, a song of the film is yet to be shot. Song’s plot is based in London and was scheduled to be shot on 15 September. However, as Gill was not in a state to resume work, makers decided to shift the slot to September end. Even now, Shehnaaz’s presence for the shoot seems dicey, as there is no confirmation given from her side.
This film is also Dosanjh’s debut as a producer. In an interview given to Time of India, Daljjt Thind, fellow producer of the film said, “She (Shehnaaz Kaur Gill) is an integral part of this film and we are also waiting for her to heal from the grave loss. We are in constant touch with Shehnaaz Gill’s manager and hope to hear from her soon.”
Honsla Rakh is scheduled to release in theatres on 15 October 2021.
Sidnazz Friends & Family React On Sidharth’s Demise
Shehnaaz’s brother Shehbaz Badesha also shared a close bond with Shukla. Therefore, to pay homage to the talented actor, Shehbaz inked the late actor’s face on his arm. He also tattooed Shehnaaz’s name beneath Sidharth.
In one of the Instagram posts Shehbaz wrote, “Your memories will be as real as you. You will always stay alive with me. You will always be alive in our memories.” He had dedicated numerous posts to Shukla on his Instagram handle.
As Bigg Boss got over, several contestants were left shocked by the news of Sidharth Shukla’s death. The winner of the show Divya Aggarwal said that she was expecting to meet Sidharth and hear “Very Well Played” from him. They learnt of this news right before the grand finale.
Shamita Shetty, who was also locked in the Bigg Boss house, also expressed her sorrow for the late actor’s death. She said, “He was a very sweet and charming guy. My heart goes out for his kin and Shehnaaz.”
Bigg Boss OTT contestant and singer Neha Bhasin found this news heartbreaking. In one of her Instagram posts, she posted a pic of Shehnaaz and Sidharth together, and captioned it, “Found out about this heartbreaking news, and it just felt like yesterday when I had seen Sidharth and Shehnaaz together in the Bigg Boss house. The first time I saw him, I found him very handsome and their chemistry was something to adore. My heart goes out for Sidharth’s family and Shehnaaz. Power and strength to his family and close ones.

Actor Abhinav Shuka and wife Rubin Dilaik also met Shehnaaz’s mother this week. While speaking to the media, the couple said “ Shehnaaz is coping well”.
Abhinav also shared a throwback picture from Gladrags Manhunt and Mega model Content 2004 where Sidharth appeared as a contestant.
