Bollywood Star Salman Khan Receives New Death Threat: Warning Claims Car Will Be Bombed, Police Investigate Source of Threat

Once more, Bollywood’s finest, Salman Khan, is under threat after an anonymous person posting a horrible message in Mumbai’s Transport Department against WhatsApp. Police sources state that the message spoke about plans to bomb Khan’s car and shoot him inside his house in Mumbai. The development has raised grave doubts about the safety of the actor, following which quick action was taken by officials in tracing the sender and validating the threat.

A case against an unidentified person has been lodged at Worli Police Station, and investigations are ongoing in the case. This is not the first time Khan received such threats. There have been several of these threats over the years, apparently from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This is allegedly due to the long-held grudges stemming from the actor’s involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case that continues to haunt him till now, both legally and socially.

April 2024 saw the trouble escalate further when two men riding a motorbike fired gunshots outside Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartment, in Bandra. Fortunately, no one got hurt. They were later arrested in Gujarat, and it was confirmed that they were associated with the Bishnoi gang. The Bollywood industry was rocked by the incident, forcing the actor’s increased security alongside his family.

The Bishnoi gang would be clear with their threats through several messages. They would demand Salman Khan to apologize publicly for the blackbuck incident or pay a huge amount as a fine. One demand even included the claim that he should visit a pilgrimage temple and seek forgiveness. The same threat wave that the gang made last year demanded Rs. 2 crore in ransom. In 2023, an email supposedly sent by gangster Goldy Brar added to the growing list of intimidation tactics aimed at the actor.

Again and again, Salman Khan has kept his cool about everything. The actor told the media recently, “Bhagwan, Allah sab unpar hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai,” meaning that his life is fated and divinely in the hands of someone else. He would even admit that this had disturbed him as now he’d avoid moving about very much, restricting himself to home and film sets. He added he felt safest in the presence of the media and tried to avoid useless public appearances.

As investigations deepen, the entertainment industry remains tense, as do Khan’s fans. Following this threat, security arrangements around the actor’s house have reportedly been tightened again. No stone will be left unturned in identifying the sender and ensuring the safety of the actor.

Despite the shadow of these constant threats looming over him, Salman Khan continues to thread the golden path of superstardom while being a potential hazard unto himself while hoping that justice prevails and peace retunes once again.
