Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan had a shocking incident at his Bandra residence in Mumbai when an intruder attacked him with a knife during an attempted robbery. It happened around midnight, leaving the actor with multiple injuries that required immediate medical attention.
An anonymous person entered his apartment and then became involved in an altercation with the domestic help; Saif attempted to interject and disintegrate the issue, only for the assaulter to then stab him repeatedly. Within seconds, as if alerted through intuition, a call was sounded through the apartment as family members of the star are present and took him into hospital at Lilavati in Bandra,.
Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, Niraj Uttamani, spoke with regard to the state of Saif and disclosed that he has suffered six injuries out of which two are grievous. The actor’s one injury was just next to his spine. Specialists consisting of neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthetist Dr. Nisha Gandhi did surgery for all the injuries. Hospital officials assured that Saif was out of danger but said that the extent of the damage would only be clear after the operation was completed.
The Bandra Police and Mumbai Crime Branch have initiated parallel investigations into the case. Officials from the police department have also confirmed that they are actively trying to track and arrest the accused. “The crime branch is conducting an in-depth investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the break-in and attack,” said a senior police officer.
The official team of Saif Ali Khan issued a statement after the incident, mentioning that the reports were true and sought privacy. According to the statement, “There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to remain patient. This is a police matter, and we will share updates as appropriate.

Kareena Kapoor Khan, the wife of Saif, too issued a statement through her management. “An attempted burglary was made at our residence last night. Saif suffered an arm injury and is undergoing a procedure. The family is safe. We request media and fans not to speculate or jump to conclusions and let the police do their job. Thanks for your love and concern and prayers.
The shocking attack has left fans and the film fraternity worried sick for the actor’s well-being. Social media platforms have been flooded with messages of support and prayers for Saif’s speedy recovery. Authorities continue to investigate the incident, while the Khan family remains focused on Saif’s health and recovery.
