Rubina Dilaik Returns to the Big Screen with ‘Hum Tum Maktoob’, Reunites with Palash Mucchal
The popular television star Rubina Dilaik is ready to appear again on the big screen with director Palash Mucchal after working together in their previous film. Since then the ‘Ardh’ beautiful lady Dilaik is now in anticipation of the much awaited movie ‘Hum Tum Maktoob’ which will be another added feather in the cap of her movie career.
Going to her self-titled Instagram handle, Rubina posted the good news much to the delight of the fans along with a picture alongside Mucchal, the producer of the soon-to-come project. In the box that contains the text for the picture, she wrote, ‘Here we team up again #HumTumMaktoob #nextfilm’, meaning that the audience can prepare for yet another enthralling film experience.
Their previous movie ‘Ardh’, which was released in 2022, not only became Dilaik’s movie debut but also it established the wonderful chemistry between the pair. The film also featured Hiten Tejwani and Rajpal Yadav and became a big hit among the movie-goers and marked Rubina’s successful journey as an actress beyond television.
‘Ardh’, now on Zee5, is a beautiful homage to the unwavering determination of hopefuls looking to succeed in the maze of entertainment capital, Mumbai. The character of Shiva, played by Rajpal Yadav, an aspiring theater artist struggling with the dream of attaining a movie personality, had the audience relating to the story and giving it a realistic outlook.
In fact, Rubina’s serial list is a list worth remembering and she has played some memorable characters like Radhika in ‘Chotti Bahu’ opposite Avinash Sachdev and the powerful role of Soumya Singh in ‘Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’. She has performed excellently in the ‘Bigg Boss 14’ finale where she emerged the winner due to her flexible talent and charm.
