Romantic Films of SRK that you just cannot afford to miss. Take a look!
These days ‘Romance’ has a new meaning. But nobody can ever replace SRK when comes to romance. It was cute yet deep. Well, the monsoon is here with a bang. In that case, here is a list of romantic films of SRK that you can watch with your BAE.
1. Veer Zara
The eternal sacrifice of Veer Pratap Singh for Zara Hayat Khan is amongst the best we have in Hindi films. The movie had one of the best background music and was directed by the legendary late Yash Chopra.
2. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge
The epic saga of Raj and Simran will always be alive until there is life on this planet.
The longest-running film is still one of our favourites. The movie may have been released in 1995, but it has a never-ending connection to our hearts.
3. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai
Rahul and Raj were among the common names for the 90s and early 2000s kids, and SRK is the big reason for this. He played Rahul in this movie and showed how a friend could also be our soulmates. This movie also has the iconic and never-replaceable Jodi of Shah Rukh and Kajol. She played the college lovers in the film.
4. Mohabbatein
Soothing tunes of violin and romantic dialogues in SRK’s voice. The beauty of the film isn’t SRK romancing but him teaching love to kids. Mohabbatein is the second movie directed by Aditya Chopra, which also featured Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in pivotal roles.
5. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
This is a simple but adorable story of a simple man who falls for vivacious Tani after their marriage. This is a little modern take of Shah Rukh’s romance which sees a different Shah Rukh with Machoism, style, hotness, and spiked hairs (not recommended at all). This is probably one of the best romantic movies of our King Khan.
6. Kal Ho Na Ho
This movie is a twist of romance, comedy, and drama. It is the story of a happy-go-lucky guy who vouches to help another guy get married to the girl they both love. Shah Rukh played the role of a dying man whose last wish is to make sure the love of his life has a loving and caring husband to live a happy life after his death.
7. Om Shanti Om
This movie is definitely one movie that every Indian has watched at least once in their lifetime. This movie showed the power of love to the fullest, where a junior actor falls in love with a superstar. Shah Rukh, who reincarnated and recalled the memory of his previous life, goes on to get revenge for the death of his lover.
8. Dil to Pagal Hai
If we’re talking about twists, it’s got to be this one! Shah Rukh, who portrays Rahul as a man who doesn’t believe in love and destiny, ironically falls in love and starts to understand his feelings. Not to mention the songs in this movie sung by our favourite Lata Mangeshkar that we still listen to date.
9. Chak de India
This movie will not give you a typical SRK love dose but will definitely leave you with a sense of pride in your women’s hockey team who are not even acknowledged for their efforts then.
10. My name is Khan
Why blame a religion when the people are at fault? The couple’s love life is short-lived as the wife’s son falls victim to Muslim hate after 9/11. Mandira blames her rage on her Muslim husband. Rizwan goes out on a journey to prove that she that his religion was not at fault.
Do you recommend any other Romantic Films of SRK which is not on the list?
