Riddhima Kapoor’s Heartfelt Tribute on Rishi Kapoor’s 72nd Birthday: Remembering Her Father and Cherishing the Resemblance of Granddaughter Raha
Rishi Kapoor passed away at the age of 67 and his untimely death left his family and fans mourning his death, especially his daughter Riddhima Kapoor, who, on what would have been her father’s 72nd birthday, took to social media with a heart-warming tribute to her late father. During the celebration, Riddhima said how much she hoped that Rishi could join them and celebrate holidays with granddaughters, Samara, who is 13-year-old and Raha Kapoor, who is one.

Riddhima posted her heartfelt message on her Instagram stories and she used a nostalgic picture of Rishi found from one of his birthday celebration. Rishi is depicted in a comfortable posture, in an informal wear black T-shirt, then preparing to butter knife to cut a birthday cake at home accompanied by balloons. Their little Samara who has been watching him from the corner waits with bated breath, and eyes on the table with a picture of cake on it. In a birthday message alongside the picture, Riddhima wrote: ‘‘Happy birthday Papa . How I wish you where [were] here to celebrate your special day with both your granddaughters. Neetu Kapoor, wife of Rishi Kapoor also posted on her Instagram to pay her respects and honored her husband by sharing a black and white photo of Rishi where he was seen cutting his birthday cake. She wrote ‘In remembrance would have been 72 today’ and the comment section was flooded with love with even Riddhima and actor Abhishek Bachchan dropping red heart emojis.

She is often compared to her late grandfather and was born in November 2022. A number of times Alia Bhatt has pointed out that Raha looks like Rishi on several occasions people and the family have also commented on the similarity. After Raha has been presented to the public, a fan decided to combine AI Rishi Kapoor’s photo with Neetu Kapoor with the baby’s face, a picture which Neetu Kapoor posted on her profile with joy.
