Rashami Desai, who had been a popular face in Television industry intimated that, she was homeless for several days after her divorce. The actress disclosed that during her moments of difficulties, she slept in her car for four days.

Rashmi also added on her part by saying that she had a debt of Rs 3. 25-3. 5 crore. She said that she had recently left her husband and her family thought everything she did was wrong. She also elaborated her emotional situation at that time and she said she wished to die.
The actress suggested that the event took place soon after her separation from actor Nandish Sandhu. During a podcast interview with Paras Chhabra, Rashami was quoted as saying, “I had bought a house during that time I had a loan of almost Rs 2. 5 crore and, apart from that… I remember there was a total debt of Rs 3. 25-3. 5 crore on me I thought everything was fine but then suddenly my show was shut down. “
She further said that she slept inside her car for four days. The Uttaran actress also said while narrating her trouble days ‘I had an Audi A6 and I would sleep in that car. All my stuff was at my manager’s house. I was completely cut off from my family. Those days, rickshaw valas would have a meal for Rs 20 . It used to come in a plastic bag which had daal and chawal mixed and they would give two rotis along with it.
Rashami told about her status at that moment and continued: “I got divorced, even friends began to think I am very hard-headed because I am not expressive and I isolate myself My family also thought all my decisions were wrong I somehow repaid the loan Though I was stressed all the time I did not sleep I work Nonstop At that time, I thought I’d rather die.
