Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the iconic filmmaker, celebrated his 62nd birthday on Monday with a lavish party attended by some of Bollywood’s most prominent personalities. Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal, who are currently working together in Bhansali’s upcoming film Love and War, were among the stars in attendance.
The party featured an intimate gathering of close friends and industry professionals who came together to commemorate the visionary director’s special day. Alia, Ranbir, and Vicky, the major actors in Love and War, looked lovely as they arrived to celebrate.
Alia dressed simply but stylishly, wearing a cream-coloured shirt and matching trousers. She wore minimal makeup and carried a stylish sling purse. Ranbir, her on- and off-screen companion, looked great in a crisp blue shirt, white trousers and matching shoes. Their co-star, Vicky Kaushal, looked fantastic in an all-black suit. The celebs looked picture-perfect as they arrived together to celebrate the birthday.

Ranbir and Alia, affectionately referred to as RaLia by their fans, set huge pair goals. As they arrived at the party, the two actors posed for the photographers, holding hands and smiling at each other affectionately. Their chemistry was clear as they grinned and stood together, capturing a natural moment on camera.

In addition to the celebration, work on their next film, Love and War, is well started. Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been filming extravagant scenes with Alia and Vicky at a disco set at Film City in Goregaon, Mumbai. The performers are set to continue filming the scenes for the following few days, with Alia spending ten days to the project. This is Alia’s second collaboration with Bhansali, following her success in Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022).
Fans were enthusiastic about the love drama, especially because it will have some interesting reunions. However, given their previous feuds, Ranbir’s partnership with Bhansali surprised many. Although Ranbir has previously praised Bhansali, calling him a “guidebook for actors,” he has also said that their working relationship was difficult during the production of Saawariya, with Bhansali frequently scolding and cursing at him on site. Despite their prior conflicts, the two have reconciled and are once again working together in Love and War.
