Rakul Preet Singh on nepotism: ‘Films have been taken away from me but I am not a person who will get bitter
Rakul Preet Singh talking about nepotism and she admitted on the fact that she lost few films also due to nepotism. Recently in an episode of Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, she also accepted that she would also assist her kids if required in the future. Rakul Preet mentioned that nepotism was very much there and anyone who denies this is fooling themselves.
Commenting if she was a victim of nepotism, Rakul said in Hindi, “Sure, you can then turn bitter or may not get opportunities because of some favoritism for your sibling you know this happens not only in the film industry but in any other industry whether in medical field and I think that is life and the sooner one understands this the better for one’s boot.”

Earlier in July, Rakul Preet starred in a movie titled Indian 2 featuring the legendary actor of the south Industry, Kamal Hassan. Indian 2 is the second part of Indian a 1996 film directed by S. Shankar the starring Kamal Hassan in a dual role as Senapathy and Veerasekaran. The sequel, however, reunited the actor with the director S Shankar on screen for the second time.
When working on the Indian 2 movie, Rakul Preet had this to say , “It is a dream to work with such a wonderful director, who, in fact, is a legend, and an amazing man. The way he perceives characters; his vision and the little things he adds with the instructions he gives on the set were all memorable learnings while working in Indian 2”.
