Recently comedian-actor Rajiv Thakur revealed how Kapil Sharma showed commitment to his role in his web series IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack as he put the US tour on hold. Thakur who has done a great work in this series mentioned that the filming of IC 814 was scheduled during their proposed America tour. “I had already given my commitment to the tour but when the series team contacted me in June last year asking for my dates I had to consider saying no to the offer,” Thakur disclosed to India Today.

But when Kapil Sharma came to know about it, he motivated Thakur to take up the offer and said, “Tu series kar, hum show push kar denge” which means You do the series we will push the show. Thus, their US tour was scheduled to start only from July. Thakur thanked Sharma for the same saying that this is how friends are supposed to be.
He then went on sharing that, after watching the series, Archana Puran Singh from The Kapil Sharma Show said to him. She was happy and posted a message where she appreciated the cricketing performance of Thakur. Similarly, Kapil Sharma used to watch this series only late in the night and at once he sent a message to the director Anubhav Sinha congratulating him and saying that he feels proud of Thakur.

At work front, Rajiv Thakur is expected to feature in the upcoming show The Great Indian Kapil Show 2 as the partner of Kapil Sharma.
