Blockbuster Rajini Film ‘Jailer’ Smashes Records
Rajinikanth’s action-packed blockbuster, “Jailer,” has been wowing audiences worldwide since its release on August 10. The film’s impressive box office journey continues, with “Jailer” on the brink of crossing the remarkable ₹650 crore milestone. Moviegoers and trade analysts eagerly anticipate this achievement, as it inches closer with each passing day.

As per the latest report from film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, “Jailer” has already raked in an astounding ₹640.18 crore globally within just 26 days of its release. The film’s fourth Monday in theatres contributed an additional ₹2.39 crore to its impressive tally.

Manobala Vijayabalan also shared a detailed breakdown of “Jailer’s” global box office earnings on Twitter. In the first week, the film amassed a ₹450.80 crore worldwide, with the second week adding another ₹124.18 crore to its total. Week three saw earnings of ₹47.05 crore, and in week four, the film continued its strong performance with daily collections of ₹3.92 crore, ₹3.11 crore, ₹4.17 crore, ₹4.56 crore, and ₹2.39 crore, respectively, bringing the whole total to ₹640.18 crore.

“Jailer” has broken several records on its way to success. Last month, it became the third Tamil film to join the ₹500 crore club, following in the footsteps of “2.0” (2018) and “Ponniyin Selvan: I” (2022). Notably, it achieved this feat within just 18 days of its release. It also holds the distinction of being the second-fastest Tamil film to reach ₹600 crore, following “2.0.”

The film’s popularity is not limited to the global stage; in India, “Jailer” has collected an estimated ₹338.3 crore nett in all languages, even in its fourth week in cinemas. The movie has been dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, making it accessible to a wider audience.
