Citadel is an American spy thriller on Amazon Prime with Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas as the leads. The television series has been created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh, and David Weil.

The series has only six episodes in the first season and is already one of the most expensive television shows.It will also have spin-offs in different languages. Amazon CEO asks for a report
Andy Jassy, the CEO of Amazon.com Inc, has asked for a detailed budget report of the show as it was made with huge money, but has not delivered good performance. Citadel is not the only show which is facing this scrutiny and shows like The Power, Dead Ringers, Daisy Jones & the Six, Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power have also failed to impress viewers and are being questioned by Jassy.
This is a part of Amazon reviewing where it is investing huge money, but not seeing the returns. However, the bigger question is if Citadel will have more seasons?
